Faust's programme for our youngest members is designed for children aged 3 and nearly 3. This 10 week course will introduce children to the wonderful world of drama, theatre and the performing arts!

Each workshop takes children on a journey through their imagination. Using an array of stories children will explore their own creativity as well as developing confidence and an interest in all things dramatic.

Workshops will start with structured free play where they will meet many of the characters, props and costumes that will be used in the workshop. They will then move onto circle time activities which will develop their confidence, voice and motor skills. Then to an interactive story time where our leaders will share stories with the children through puppets, acting or books. Children will then have plenty of time to get involved, help tell the story and do lots of activities related to the story. The workshop will finish with games and songs.

Each workshop will explore a different story and a different social development milestone: making friends, playing with others, sharing, taking turns, helping and caring for others. The workshops will develop children’s social, physical and cognitive skills in an environment which values their individuality and encourages their creativity.

Workshops are led and assisted by experienced Early Years teachers with extensive drama knowledge (both teaching and performing).

Workshops take place at the Faust Studio in Sheung Wan on Monday and Friday afternoons, and at Beacon Hill School in Kowloon Tong on Wednesday afternoons. Please click here for registration details.
