Faust International Youth Theatre is delighted to present William Golding's extraordinary story LORD OF THE FLIES, adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams.

The play features an authentic all-male cast and is directed by Matthew Gregory and Kitty Cortes, with costumes by Idalia Camilo-Boutland, set design by Colette Marsh and lighting design by Andy Burt.

A plane crashes on a deserted island. The only survivors are a group of school boys. They live in a land of bright exotic birds and dark blue seas, but at night their dreams are inhabited by a terrifying beast. Before long this well behaved group has turned into a bloodthirsty and murderous tribe.

This version of LORD OF THE FLIES was first professionally produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford Upon Avon in July 1995.

This production is recommended for children aged 10.
