Clara Kim – Assistant Leader Clara has always had a passion for theatre which was why she opted to study GCSE Drama, but she was never actively involved with a company until she moved to Tokyo. Whilst attending the International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, she became heavily involved with school musicals (having been in three and starring most recently as Matron Morton aka Mama for a Chicago showcase performance) and had the pleasure to be acquainted with Jonathan Hagans - Sacred Heart's Head of Drama and the President of Tokyo's oldest English theatre company - Tokyo International Players (currently in its 115th season!). She got involved with TIP by helping out backstage but slowly got more and more involved with the Costuming department. By the end of TIPs 114th season, Clara was in charge of hair and makeup and was co designer of the sets and props for Seussical the Musical Jr. Now Clara's back in Hong Kong and is excited to be a part of Faust! |
