SUPPORT A BIRTHDAY SCHEME FOR SICK OR UNDER-PRIVILEGED CHILDREN

As many of you who have been with Faust for a while know, birthdays are important to us and we send a birthday card to every child registered with us.

We were happy to see then that True Children's Home provides a birthday party for every child in their home. So in addition to our fundraiser we are also going to sponsor a birthday party for every child in the home.

As many of the children pass either their first or second birthday in the home we thought it would be great if they could have their own special day. We will help provide each child with their own cake, present and party. As the year progresses we will be sharing some of these birthdays with you through our e-newsletter. These photos are also put in each child's own memory book so, when they are adopted, their new family can still share in some of the magic of that first birthday.

True Children's Home works with some of China's poorest and least accessible orphanages by providing care for abandoned children with moderate to life-threatening birth defects. These include cleft lip and palette, club feet, teratomate, heart surgery, anal atresia, adipoma, stoma closure and colostomy.
