Appoint a charity of choice for The Faust Festival 2009

This year we have chosen to support two charities through our Faust Festival. The first, Variety (http://www.varietyhk.org) is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and well-being of children in Hong Kong. The second, The Nesbitt Centre (http://www.hkvc.org.hk) provides English-speaking educational programmes for adults with learning disabilities - also a respite and residential facility, which helps to achieve independence and development of their own potential and opportunities within the community.

Assist in Fundraising day

Faust were invited to run drama workshops at the Rockraiser Festival in April organised by Child Welfare Scheme (http://www.cwshk.org) raising money to help and support children in Nepal. This was due to take place at Cyberport and was open to the general public as well as schools supported by the charity Variety (http://www.varietyhk.org). Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, the event has been postponed until Saturday 10th October. Faust is looking forward to getting involved then!

Participate in and support at additional fundraising events

Over the course of our tenth season we have donated a number of prizes (registration and tickets) to a variety of different fundraising activities. In addition we worked with the International Montessori School in the delivery of a series of workshops for their children.
